Thankful for Little Wins and You

I have a few new things to be thankful for this week.

My short story “Hooper’s Folly” was the first place winner of the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library short story contest. Woohoo! I’m thankful to the FOHCL for choosing my little story and for the prize from Scout’s Coffee Bar and Mercantile. You can check out my story and the stories from the other winners here.

It’s been a winning sort of week here, because I also learned that my Tape Me Up pattern was a top finisher in Spoonflower’s Thrift Store Treasures design challenge. Huge thanks to everyone who voted for my retro print. This little win is like when they finally play your favorite song on the radio and you hit record on your tape recorder at the perfect time!

Mostly, though, this week I’m thankful for you. Thank you for reading my weekly posts and for being my friend. It means the world to me!

I wish you a happy Thanksgiving, and I hope that you too have much to be grateful for this holiday. Safe travels to all of you who will be journeying to see family and loved ones this Thanksgiving!
